AVI50519 - Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating)

The Instrument rating course is a must have for Commercial Pilots who want to take their career to the next level.

Our specialised course aligns with CASA regulation requirements and comprises of Multi Engine Flight Training, Simulator Training and TREX Theory.

The Completion of this course will provide increased employment opportunities such as Airline, Charter and Flight Training (Instructor).

  • Graduates who successfully complete the AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument rating) and obtain their CASA Commercial Pilot Licence are qualified to begin their careers as professional pilots. Our 2025 course fee is $36,000. As an approved VET Student Loans provider, eligible students may be able to access loan assistance. Please refer to the fee inclusions, exclusions and Vet Student Loans outlined below.

Entry Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Pilot Licence issued by CASA

  • Valid Class 1 Aviation Medical

  • 50 hours of Visual Flight hours (VFR) navigation aeronautical experience as a Pilot-in-Command (PIC)

  • Conduct Interview with Bunbury Flying School
